Tonight I am at lost for words
Not because I can’t think of anything to write for the Slice of Life Challenge
But because it is a night for CELEBRATION
A night to cherish my alma mater’s BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP WIN (for the second year in a row)
This has been a busy week of basketball
Three games
Three nail biters
Three come from behind (way behind) games to pull ahead and WIN
But what a three games it has been
Time to rest up and get ready for March Madness
Time to get ready to fill out my bracket
Time for more basketball memories with The Mayor and our team
It has been a great season with more to come
I bet Coach Hoilberg is still DANCING tonight.

Now, let’s help our COACH win the INFINITI Coaches Challenge. The winnings will go to the American Heart Association .. an organization close to Fred Hoilberg’s HEART!
March 2015, I am blogging daily as a part of the Slice of Life Story Challenge! This is post #14. More Slice of Life posts from other bloggers can be found on Two Writing Teachers.
A fellow Cyclone!!! Wasn’t tonight awesome! We really liked the last minute shot the other night too? Did you get to go to the tournament. We used to go in college but are too far away now! Wish we could have been there. What a party!
Nice to know another Cyclone Fan. Yes, tonight’s game was awesome. I do wish we could get ahead a little in the first half, but I think that is part of The Mayor’s tactics – read the opposing team, switch it up after the half and then go get them! The last minute shot the other night saved us for the rest of the championship playoff! KC would have been a do able 4 hour drive, but didn’t have the time to spend down there. I use to go to games while in college, too. Actually, I’d go out for a jog and then end up at Hilton at the half and get in free. How times have changed!

I’m so excited, I used the wrong punctuation marks in the last post. I really am a writing teacher!
Excitement gets the best of all of us!
